We want you to be completely satisfied with your By Malene Birger order. Therefore, we offer an easy return service. Upon delivery of your order, you have 14 calendar days to decide if you are satisfied with your purchase and would like to keep your order.
If you wish to exchange your item to a different size a color, please contact us for further information. Unfortunately, we do not offer exchanges to countries outside of the EU.
Return period
Please ship your return no later than 14 days after you have received your order. If you are having difficulties returning your item/s in time, please contact us before the 14 day period is over. It is not possible to submit a return in the portal after the 14 days.
The same return policy applies to discounted as well as full-priced items. Any returns shall be made within 14 days of receipt of the order.

How to submit a return in the return portal:
- Fill in the e-mail used to place the order and the order number for the order you wish to return.
- Select the item(s) you wish to return and continue to choose your reason for return and the carrier you wish to return with. Continue to confirm the return of your order.
- The return label will be sent to your e-mail. Print the label and attach it to the outside of the parcel and drop it off at your selected return carrier.
We aim to process a refund within 3 days of receiving your parcel and send you an e-mail to let you know we have received and processed it. After you have received the e-mail, please allow another 5-10 working days for the refund to be credited to your account. The amount of time this takes will depend on which bank or card issuer you have.

Returning from a country outside of the EU:
If you are returning from a country outside of the EU, kindly follow the below steps:
- Print 3 pcs of the return proforma invoice
- Attach them to the package (1 inside the package, tape 1 on the outside of the package and 1 separate for the carrier)
- Deliver it to your selected return carrier
As your return has to undergo customs handling it may take up to a month.
You are always welcome to contact our customer care at any time during your return process if you have any questions.
Please note that you have to return your order from the country you have ordered from. If you wish to return items from another country, please contact us for further information and permission.
Exchanges
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer exchanges at the moment. Instead, we kindly ask you to return your item and place a new order for your desired item.
Can I use a different carrier?
You have the option to arrange a return shipment yourself through any postal courier within 14 days. In this case, you will be responsible for the full cost of returning the parcel and the products will be your responsibility until they reach our warehouse. We recommend you use a carrier that offers traceable shipping and to note your tracking number to be able to follow your return. Please note that in the case of damage or loss of any items, we cannot offer any help or compensation.
Please make sure to fill out the Return Form at the bottom of the Delivery Note enclosed with your order. Please enclose it with your products in order for us to process your refund correctly.

Can I return my order in one of your stores?
Unfortunately, at this point, all items purchased in our webshop have to be returned to our warehouse in Hvidovre, Denmark as our stores currently are not set up for online returns.
